While neighbouring Sandbanks is famous for its jaw-droppingly expensive properties, celebrity residents and golden sand, Flaghead Chine Beach is really just as wonderful, only quieter.
Exquisite, fine sand and wonderful views across the bay to Studland and the Old Harry Rocks make this one of Bournemouth's best beaches. It's quiet because, unlike the other beaches along this lengthy strip of sand, you have to walk to get here. With no convenient car park, far fewer beachgoers make it to this section.
While there are no lifeguards, you will find toilets (summer season) and drinking taps on the chine.
