This nature reserve connects directly to the Muziek forest and is home to numerous rare plants and animals on 57 hectares.

Since the forest was not cut down during the First World War, you can still find English oaks, oaks and ash trees that are over 150 years old and some of them are up to four meters in circumference.

If you are very quiet and look closely, you will spot the nuthatch, tawny owl, buzzard and black woodpecker. Foxes, deer and even the rare wood grouse live in the hallways.

The Sint-Pietersbos is an old 57-hectare nature reserve and connects to the 52-hectare Muziekbos.

The Sint-Pietersbos was bought by the Flemish government in 2011 from the noble family Gautier de Rasse. The forest area is partly a forest reserve.
