From the parking lot at the Seeberalm you can discover the Seebertal with its beautiful lake in a three-hour circular hike of almost 8 kilometers. A, in my opinion, very nice and easy to go round.

An easily accessible lake jewel. When the mountain panorama is reflected on the surface of the water, it's fantastic.
In summer, during the holiday season, you should come in the morning or late afternoon if you want the chance to have the lake to yourself.

Circumnavigating the lake, it becomes apparent that a clearly visible, marked path, which is not shown on the map, continues further south into the valley. You can walk a few hundred meters further to the beginning of the scree fields under the glaciers. Here you should mostly be alone with the rushing water and cowbells and can take a comfortable rest on one of the rocks.
From then on, the path changes sides of the stream over a simple wooden bridge, climbs up the slope and probably meets the 44 (didn't go any further).

The Seebersee is located in the middle of the Seebertal. The hike there is beautiful. You always have a great view of the glaciers at the end of the valley. An absolute pleasure in sunny weather.

The panoramic view of the last remnants of the glacier is simply a dream. However, it is shocking when you compare several years with each other. The glacier melt is immense.🥵
