It is worth the short pass from the pass to the sharp stones below descend. It is worth but less to climb this. The rock is very brittle.

The natural wonder there are the graphite-black boulders in the middle of the dominant light-colored carbon rocks. As if the giant forces of prehistoric times had hurled them there. They give the pass its name, these black metapelites and metamergel, which are so dark because of organic, graphite-like residues.
