The lava bomb is located on the Montaña Colorado.
The plants on the volcano are a species of dock, originally introduced as goat fodder, but now spreading rather undesirable.
The direction of the compass can be seen very clearly from the "growth" of lichens on the lava bomb.

A really impressive lava bomb. This was spat out over 3 kilometers from the active volcano during the last eruption. With the larger one, you first notice how much energy such a volcano can develop.

Then head to the Montana Negra where you can climb up and gain some altitude and admire the magnificent Volcano del Curevo with its distinct caldera! The panorama is worth the effort...
