The cross sign marks a crossroads in the forest between Korb / Hanweiler and Buoch. From there you can turn in all directions. There is a refuge, great barbecue area with enough tables and a small playground.

Educational insight into the forest habitat. The Waiblinger Stadtwald on the Buocher Höhe has one more attraction and a new forest adventure trail. The circular route, which is about three kilometers long and leads from the Hanweiler car park to the east via the "Hörnles -kopf", the "Kreuzeichene" and back again, is provided with 20 covered display boards and ten other additional boards that are also suitable for children and young people put out an entertaining and educational course. They are designed according to pedagogical and didactic aspects and give an insight into the ecological context of the forest habitat.
