The building looks much smaller in the photos than it really is. Really impressive when you stand in front of it. And it's not far to the freely accessible F1 track either. Be sure to visit!

The building was built for the World's Fair Expo 67, based on designs by architect Richard Buckminster Fuller, as the United States pavilion. Today it houses a water and environmental museum.

During renovation work in May 1976, a fire destroyed the transparent outer shell of the building, but the supporting structure remained intact. It still stands today. The new buildings erected within the steel skeleton were designed by Éric Gauthier.
