Berliner Straße in Bad Freienwalde is the longest slope in the Berlin area.

It is not particularly steep but five kilometers long.

On the road are the Soviet Military Cemetery and the northernmost ski jump in Germany.

In the spring classic Berlin-Bad Freienwalde-Berlin, the climb had to be defeated several times before the race track led back to Berlin. The last years the race was held as Erich Schulz memorial race. In memory of the 1956 on the GDR tour in the wake of a fall deceased cyclist Erich Schulz.

Meisenberg is one of the few correct climbs in the Berlin area. The road is quite busy, but also wide enough.

The construction site from 2018-2019 is now also gone, but there is now a bike lane in the lower part, i.e. the urban part.
