A nice spot of earth. The benches at the spring invite you to a picnic and the silence is interrupted at most once by the roaring of the crows or by the screaming of the pheasant.

An artesian source is a natural escape from an artesian (strained) aquifer. Such a phenomenon occurs when groundwater is trapped in a depression between two groundwater fissures. The Habernisser Autal is surrounded by broken forest and boggy meadows. Countless small streams flow through this area. A large part of the route through the meadow landscape therefore runs on plank paths. The paths through the Autal are hiking trails and not intended for cycling. You don't have to go everywhere by bike.

The natural monument Source Wolsroi is an artesian spring that feeds around 600 liters of water into a spring pot every hour. The overflowing water is diverted via a spring stream into the Habernisser Au.
Incidentally, the outlet is located at a distance of approx. 30 m from the source. The water is drained off via a pipeline. You also have to open your eyes when hiking.

Source? All you can see is a water hole with clear algae growth, without any water flow. Completely unsuitable for cyclists as the paths to the source run over boggy ground on a 50 cm wide plank path that ideally functions as a tire trap. At the northern entrance there is also a bottleneck that is only suitable for narrow strollers.
