This beach is a real insider tip for lovers of natural beaches, which are also suitable for swimming. There is a public WC and a small kiosk at the adjacent campsite. Opposite the beach there is a beautiful nature reserve with springs, planks, forest and small dirt roads.

The name Habernis goes back to an old legend from the beginning of the 16th century. At Habernis, the lands of Steinberg and Quern collided. The inhabitants of the parish Steinberg and the parish Quern grazed their cattle in the forest area of the peninsula, which led to frequent border disputes. One day the Steinberg shepherd is said to have killed his Querner professional colleague Nis, which is why the farmers of Steinberg and Quern then met to end the quarrel.
