The Anlauter is an approximately 29 km long tributary of the Schwarzach on the Franconian Jura in Bavaria in the Altmühl Valley Nature Park. It flows out of the Zeiselweiher a hundred meters east of Geyern. It flows into the Schwarzach shortly after Enkering, which itself flows into the Altmühl near Kinding shortly afterwards.

The Anlauter is a lively brook and with a gradient of around 160 meters from the source to the end, it is also relatively fast despite the many bends and dangling movements. Numerous mills along the stream are a sign that the energies are being used well. It's fun to experience this element of water so powerfully on the bike and hiking trails that run close to the stream
