In Dresden on the Brühlsche Ufer there are only bronze counterfeits. The "Four Days of the Day" by sculptor Johannes Schilling (1828-1910) originally stood from 1868 to 1908 on the stairs of the Brühlsche Terrasse in Dresden. Due to weather damage, the sandstone sculptures were replaced by bronze casts. King Albert donated the originals to the city of Chemnitz. The sculptures are housed in winter.

Strong male figure with vine branches, devoted to pleasure after completing the day's work;

drinks wine (Bacchus' gift) and listens to the girls playing

The night, with sleep and dreams

Noble female figure with a crescent moon as a diadem in her hair;

spreads her robe protectively around the sleeping boy;

Morpheus whispers sweet dreams to the sleeping man.
