At a good 40 meters above sea level and directly on the banks of the Elbe River, a high medieval residential tower, the Klutturm, stands, and right next to it a neo-Gothic castle. These are the remains of the former castle complex and later the Rogätz manor.

The Klutturm, some of which is over 900 years old and 32 meters high, is the remnant of the former Rogätz castle, which was destroyed in the Thirty Years' War. It is made of boulders and stretches over three floors. It was used as a residential tower for a long time and was converted from still to a water tank in 1924. It has served as an exhibition space and lookout tower since the 1990s.
