            No road user (including cyclists) can relate to the phrases from another ADFC guide:
            "You can only cross when the light is green."


            Especially since it's a very tricky spot for car users.

                                                  After negotiations in May 1886, a private ferry connection with a rowing boat was set up at Amdorf-Stintrick in order to establish a regular connection to Amdorf and Neuburg. In the following decades, the operators of the ferry connection repeatedly complained that the operation did not cover their costs and had to be subsidized in order to maintain the ferry connection. The ferry service was last awarded in June 1951, but the ferry operator Anton Schöneboom resigned in April of the following year without being able to find a new operator.
                                                  First of all, it was decided to build a catwalk to enable the parishioners from Tammingaburg, Stintrick, Schmerige Hörn and Critzhörn living on the Nettelburg river side to visit the Amdorf church. A little later, however, the local council decided to build a bridge which, in addition to pedestrians, could also be used by ambulances, fire engines and for transport.
