The representative building in the historicist style was built around 1890. The brick building was the seat of the parliament of the influential Mecklenburg estates, which included the nobility and towns. Today it houses the Higher Regional Court.

The court is located on the representative Wallstrasse, house number 3 in the listed, neo-Gothic Ständehaus.
The building was built between 1889 and 1893 on behalf of Grand Duke Friedrich Franz III. Built according to plans by Gotthilf Ludwig Möckel and the Mecklenburg Knights and Landscape as the administrative and court seat of the United State Estates of both Mecklenburgs.
The typical style of Wilhelmine state architecture (historicism) combines elements from neo-Gothic to neo-Baroque in a representative monumental building and is attributed to the Hanoverian school of architecture.

The building was built between 1889 and 1893 on behalf of Grand Duke Friedrich Franz III. established as an administrative and court seat.
In the main facade there are 4 statues of Mecklenburg princes: the dukes Johann Albrecht I and Christian Ludwig II, Grand Duke Friedrich Franz II.
On the front opposite the entrance above the main staircase there are several colored mosaics, made by the company Puhl & Wagner from Berlin.

The Estates House at the Rosengarten is probably one of the most important surviving buildings in the historicist style in Germany, which was particularly widespread in the 19th century. The red brick building was erected in just four years from 1889 to 1893.

The large neo-Gothic brick building next to the Stone Gate was built between 1889 and 1893 according to designs by Gotthilf Ludwig Möckel, the Grand Ducal court architect.
The facade was richly decorated, using two-tone bricks, i.e., regular and glazed.
The facade features larger-than-life bronze sculptures of Mecklenburg dukes, as well as oriel windows, turrets, and mosaics.
