You come across him on almost all hikes through the forest on the heights of the Ville, as he is, like the "Iron Man", the center of a plaza-like clearing, and several important forest paths run towards him. Although the linden tree is still young, an inscription stone indicates that it replaces the so-called "camel tree" that stood at this point from 1477 to 1977. How the tree got its strange name, many parents not only know how to tell their children, but also how to demonstrate on the spot: a few meters away from the young linden tree stands, as it were as a monument to itself, cast in a concrete base Tree trunk of the old camel boom and the little miracle still works for him just as it did at the time when the old oak tree was still green: When a child curiously sticks his head into the hollow of the tree trunk, it rains camels, i.e. sweets, from above. The children are thrilled, even if they quickly realize that the camels are falling out of a plastic tube into which their parents threw them from above.
