The upper Kuchbach valley was not destroyed by wide logging paths. It is a narrow, humid valley and the stream accompanies the hiker gurgling and chuckling and if you listen carefully, you will hear bad stories of rafts and farmers, poachers and priests from the past.

A valley and a stream straight out of a picture book. Over small rapids and an infinite number of turns, it goes down into the valley. I imagined what it would be like if a trail were created close to the stream instead of the wood removal path. That would actually be a very special experience. Maybe there are good spirits in the Black Forest Association who will tackle it.
