      Very nicely designed park, a lot of effort is put into it 👌.
      There are a wide variety of tree species from all over the world.
      You can really spend hours here at any time of the year... Seating and trash cans are also available. Always worth a visit👍 I find the atmosphere of this park beautiful at any time.

                With Villa and Park Hohenrode on the outskirts of Nordhausen you will find a facility of outstanding artistic conception. Hohenrode is the only known example of Heinrich Siesmayer's works that have survived through the ages and has been preserved without loss of space, over-molding or disturbing installations.

                      The park is today. With ten hectares, the Hohenrode Park with villa, outbuilding and pavilion is the largest historical park in Nordhausen. It is an outstanding artistic testimony to the 19th century. The garden artist Heinrich Siesmayer and the architect Ludwig Bohnstedt were among the greats of their time. Carl and Fritz Kneiff shaped the park through their passion for collecting rare trees and bushes.
