A bit of history
The Neo Renassance palace, surrounded by a beautiful English park, was erected in the years 1845-1846, according to the design of Friedrich August Stuler on the initiative of the brothers Ryszard and Hermann von Roy. The residence together with the surroundung areas had the title of Knightly Goods. For many centures, only the nobility had the right to acquire knight goods.
In 1945, a state owned agricultural holding was established here with its offices, staff flats, school (People's University) and kindergarten. After 1989, the palace underwent notorious devastation, park was ruined. In 1993, the estate was entered Into the register of monuments. The current owners bought the Palace in 2005, 2006 they began renovation, which, due to the huge damage, lasted for 12 years and ended in 2018.
