            Münchweiler Castle is located in the middle of the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park. The baroque residence was built between 1752 and 1785 according to plans by Imperial Baron Franz Georg Zant von Merl and has been in the family for eight generations. Today it houses a hotel and café. Not only hikers and cyclists who are out and about on the surrounding premium hiking trails and cycle routes can stop here to find peace and relaxation. Business people and Sunday excursionists are also welcome guests of the von Hagke family in Wadern-Nunkirchen.
