Absolutely beautiful vantage point that was unknown to me as a local for a long time. Those who are not afraid of the steep ascent can climb up straight from the parking lot. Entry via the waterfall path is, however, recommended.

There are 5 towers to see, Badener Höhe, Y-Burg-Turm, Fremersbergturm, Merkurturm and the Karlsruher Turm on the Mahlberg.

The very easy to walk path from the parking lot on the B500, Malschbacher Straße 8 to the Geroldsauer waterfall offers many great impressions and photo opportunities of the beautiful, wild brook. In the further course, a visit to the Bernickelfels is recommended, which reveals a great view of the surroundings. A stop at the Scherrhof rounds off this successful hike with delicious hot and cold dishes and drinks. Those who want 11.6 km and 440 vertical meters will find a really great tour here. There were also untrained people in our group, who had to snort a bit, but persevered well.
