Beautiful circular walk with direct course on Steinhuder sea on the north shore between the white dune and Mardorf; and between Steinhude and Hagenburgkanal beautiful view of the sea and the mountains of Rehburg; with some lookout towers and bathing facilities (white dune, Steinhude bathing island) and many restorations. In the area of the bird dam nature reserve Großenheidorner- u. Wunstorfer Moor, typical Moorgvegetation, in the west at Winzlar bird watching and conservation station.

With almost 30 square kilometers, the Steinhuder Meer is the largest lake in northwest Germany and offers great potential for decelerating.
It is just as suitable for cycling as for going on vacation.
Because of its protected natural areas, it offers habitat for many waterfowl and breeding bird species.
