From here you can sail across the fjord with the Kiel Fördeschiffahrt. Either get to Kiel city center (Bahnhofskai) or directly to the other bank of the fjord (Friedrichsort, Schilksee, Strande) in order to continue your tour there, for example through the Danish Wohld or save the trip around the Kiel Fjord. 😉

In my opinion, the trip with the Fjord steamers is not exactly cheap, so a 20-minute crossing from Laboe to Strande costs €6.20 (one adult + bicycle). But it is certainly an experience.

A beautiful place with an interesting, lovely little harbor ⚓️ a beautiful promenade with many restaurants, cafes, etc. and plenty of beach 😉 with a view of the Kiel Fjord.
Unfortunately, when the weather is good and during the holidays, this is often completely overcrowded, which may not be for everyone.
