The cycle path leads through the <domain, but descends briefly.

The restored Oeslau domain is first mentioned in a document in 1162 on the medieval trade route from south to north and the former ford through the Röden river.

Around 1425 it came to the mint master of Rosenau, in 1600 to the Princely Chamber of Coburg as a domain, and in 1920 to the state foundation, in 1984 transfer to the then Rödental municipality.

The 1.7 hectare domain was renovated from August 1985 to May 1988 as a nationwide pilot project for the urban development program. In the same year, the renovation and renovation was awarded the Konrad Adenauer Prize.

Today, their buildings serve as the domicile for the municipal building yard, the youth center, exhibitions and social facilities.

A beer garden can also be found in the beautiful ambience - with beer that is not brewed 100 meters away.
