A ride up the Seeberg to the castle is worth it, as it is very quiet. Although the castle is rapidly decaying and some people think they are gradually ruining, but still you can quite comfortably stay there for a break. And at the end of the break you have a relaxed downhill.

Alone, if it is quiet it is a wonderful place for a little break :)

The Neue Hakeburg is a large castle-like mansion in Kleinmachnow, a town south of Berlin. It lies on the Seeberg on the north side of the Machnower lake near the Teltowkanal lock Kleinmachnow and offers a view over the nature reserve Bäketal.

Owner of the manor and later built on another place New Hakeburg was the family of Hake. The most famous persons of the sex of Hake were:

Due to financial problems, the building including 44 hectares of land was sold in 1936 to the Reichspost, which converted it into the residence of Reich Postmaster Wilhelm Ohnesorge in 1938 and the site as a research and experimental center for various types of aircraft, especially flying wings, radio measuring systems, transmission units, control units, broadband cables , used general radio and television sets. These projects were led by the Economic and Administrative Main Office (WVHA) of the SS.

Since October 1999, the New Hakeburg is claimed by the self-proclaimed exile government of the Micronation Sealand, because they (allegedly) leased them for 99 years.
