This cable ferry travels across the Saale from Calbe to Gottesgnaden and back. The ferry, built at a Magdeburg shipyard, was completed in 1932 and converted to EU standards in the mid-1990s. The 13-meter-long vessel has a load capacity of 6.75 tons and can carry a maximum of 30 passengers per trip.
