The fortified church of St. Peter was built in 1513-1515 on a hill.
Worth seeing also the Stations of the Cross on the old churchyard wall, which originated around the turn of the century.
The church is open daily from 9 to 20 o'clock.

The so-called "fortified church" was probably built in the years 1513-1515 on the remains of an even older church. Thanks to extensive restoration work, it was saved from deterioration and made accessible to visitors interested in art and architecture. The Gothic reticulated vault, remains of the medieval wall painting and the richly carved baroque chair cheeks are particularly worth seeing.
The new parish church was built in 1927 below the fortified church on the Kirmesberg. Today a path lined with stations of the cross leads steeply uphill from the new parish church to the fortified church. Source: eifel.de/go/sehenswertes-detail/wehrkirche_berndorf.html
