The harbor clasp with the Käpt´n-Jürs bridge was opened in September 2013 and has become an integral part of this area. With its construction, a basis was laid for the current planning in the Krückau-Vormstegen district. An alternative fixed crutch crossing would only have reached the port for the smallest ships and was therefore rejected.
