In the upper third there is a very nice view north to Ettenhausen and Guntershausen. Those who like holly trees will love the way, because there are many.
The route is not recommended on wet ground, as the upper half is quite steep and slippery when wet.
The path was built by Polish soldiers interned in Switzerland during World War II (see also one of the photos with a blackboard on the way).
