Located in Calvaruso, at about 500 meters above sea level, Forte Campone is structurally on two levels connected by a ramp on the left side.
Within the entire fortified structure, eight cannon pitches can easily be seen. This makes the Campone fort the Umbertine fortifications with a remarkable armament despite the size being modest.
It is still in excellent condition and could be used with some internal and external safety work.
