If you just want to relax and have a little time for yourself, want to organize your thoughts, or just need a little exercise and fresh air, the Cardinal's Path could be a wonderful experience. This pilgrimage revolves around the life and work of Clemens August Cardinal von Galen, who was born in Dinklage. The 24-kilometer route, which can be covered within a day, connects Damme and Dinklage; it is divided into five stations and thus four stages.

The stations are called:
"be brave"
"To be constant"
"Be decided"
"(Gem) to be lonely"
"Just be"
