Opened in 2012, the "Boathouse" offers much more than its simple name suggests. Amidst the magical and lush nature of the marsh landscape, the wooden facade of this tourist attraction glows in the distance in Swedish red, above a wooden terrace located directly on the water. Its enticing resting place invites you to linger in a heavenly setting, just like the lush green of a generously sized lawn.

Inside the "Boathouse," a skillful architectural balance has been achieved.

The furnishings in the light-filled rooms are maritime-rustic, yet elegant and functional. Plenty of old, natural wood, some of which comes from old barns, and a host of endearing yet functional details radiate an incredible warmth.
