The Hirtsteinbaude was built by the branch association of the Erzgebirgsverein and was opened as an accommodation house on December 17, 1926. The ceremonial consecration took place on September 11, 1927. The construction costs were around 30,000 Reichsmarks.

The Hirtsteinbaude is a cozy mountain inn with truly delicious food. Highly recommended. Guest rooms are also available.
Update 2024: The Bergelt family handed over the inn in January. However, it is now run by younger people. The food is still very good...

산악자전거 라이딩
One of the most beautiful summit buildings in the Erzgebirge, whether on foot (hiking) or bike (MtB) always worth a tour and worthwhile destination. Highly recommended. Roulade, red cabbage and dumplings and blueberry or blueberry pie. Room capacity limited necessarily before call. Bed capacities are still sufficiently available in the near by-laws.
