Beautiful castle located just above the Neckar - unfortunately, the castle is privately owned and therefore not easy to visit. Directly behind the castle begins the Wolfsschlucht.

The very well-preserved castle is probably one of the most impressive fortresses in the Neckar valley and is since 1808 in Markgräflich Badischem family property. Currently, the castle is inhabited by Prince Ludwig of Baden and his family. The best view of the castle can be had from the opposite side of the river Neckar or from one of the so-called "winke boats" that run on sunny days on the river.
Just behind the castle begins the romantic Wolfsschlucht gorge, which invites to relaxing walks and is a hiker's paradise.
