Housed in a historic 1900 river-rock building, it features a rich history as a saloon and French steam laundry. Across the street, the restaurant grows fresh organic vegetables and raises chickens, ensuring the freshest ingredients.

Thomas Keller is the first and only American-born chef to hold multiple three-star ratings from the prestigious Michelin Guide, as well as the first American male chef to be designated a Chevalier of The French Legion of Honor, the highest decoration in France.
French Laundry, a 1,600 square-foot structure of river rock and timbers, was built as a saloon in 1900 by a Scottish stonemason. The building later served as a residence, and during the 1920s operated as a French steam laundry. In 1978, town mayor Don Schmitt and his wife Sally renovated the structure into a restaurant, which Keller then purchased in 1994.
Across the street the garden grows fresh organic vegetables and Chicken.
