A little adventure awaits you here on the Lippe. From April to October, pedestrians and cyclists can pull themselves to the other side of the river with the ferry. A great experience, especially for children. Make sure you don't head for the ferry too late in the evening, as it will eventually get chained up. You can use them from sunrise to sunset. You can find more information about the ferry here: hamm.de/radtouristik.

Lippe ferry "LUPIA" at Oberwerries Castle in Hamm (main route in the area between the Lippeauen loop and the moated castle loop)
The ferry can usually be used between sunrise and sunset. LUPIA is put on the chain overnight and even taken out of the water in the event of a flood.
From November 1st, 2021 to March 31st, 2022, "Lupia" will be out of service and will be up and running again from April 1st, 2022.
