    Residence of the kings of France, the Château de Versailles is one of the most illustrious monuments of French heritage.                 Place d'Armes in Versailles. It is not possible to enter the Palace of Versailles by the main courtyard by bike. You have to choose ... on the right, towards Saint Cyr, the Swiss pond, and further on, the entrance to the large park via the Lantern, then the Grand Canal. Or, on the left, by the city, then the route de la Reine, and Trianon then the Grand Canal. You have to go around the Grand Canal, beautiful walk !!
