Nöggenschwiel is the highest rose village in the Black Forest. Our rose village is worth seeing from the end of May/beginning of June (depending on when the roses bloom) until autumn (before the first frost).
Over 16,500 rose bushes of all kinds can be seen throughout the village. The rose assortment garden offers a special feature. In this garden alone, almost 1800 rose bushes in around 190 varieties bloom, which are tested for frost hardiness.
