The tour to Everest Base Camp is not technically demanding. Only the last piece over the glacier to the base camp itself may be treacherous. The dangers are in the amount you reached there. If you are trekking in Nepal for the first time, I recommend to do the Annapurna Trek first. He is scenically diverse and leads through different regions of Nepal. Of course you can also do Everest Base Camp, but better later ;-)
