This beautifully landscaped heather garden is adorned with a lavishly and lovingly designed rondel, in which around 150,000 garden heather plants grow. So it makes sense to get an overview of this impressive plant splendor from the viewing platform.

It is also highly recommended to take part in a two-hour guided hike, which includes a visit to the Heidegarten, which is open to the public at all times.

This bike tour is just fantastic. I can only recommend it. There is only one small obstacle. This is the one-way street regulation into the Pietzmoor, if you drive like I did. But then you drive to the next parallel path. Then it works. The route is very easy to drive. Sand spot now and then, you can still drive through easily (3-5 meters long).
