"During archeological excavations in the 1980s, a large burial mound was discovered in Telgte-Raestrup, to which an almost 40 meter long avenue of posts leads. It is believed that burials took place here around 3,700 years ago in a procession-like ceremony. As part of the "Regionale 2004" the burial mounds and the avenue of posts along the EmsRadweg were reconstructed."

The Pfostenallee in the Emsauenpark is on the Ems Cycle Path in the direction of Warendorf. The reconstructed burial mound points to the Bronze Age settlement along the Ems.
