    The Pfreimd meanders a total of 76 kilometers from the Czech Republic to the town of Pfreimd through the Upper Palatinate Forest. The Goldsteig follows the course of the Pfreimd for almost 15 kilometers to the Naab. The Pfreimdtal and the Kainzbachtal belong to Natura 2000 as an FFH area. They offer important habitats for various animal and insect species such as beavers, dragonflies and frogs.

                                    The most beautiful entry into the Pfreimdtal is at the Hotel Anzer. Here you should follow the indicated hiking trail to the dance mill. The natural landscape is really unique here. The path is easy to walk on, apart from the rock path, there are no major obstacles. With the bike it is also good as a single trail until then, but then I had to carry my bike over the rocks.
