"Families can make coffee here," that was the motto in the past and it still says so today. The forest pub with beer garden is an integral part of the Grünauer Forest. A great place for a break while hiking or cycling. Monday and Tuesday are closed.

Hanff's Ruh forest restaurant

"A declaration of love

I know a place where peace lives,

The furthest journey there will be rewarded.

There is no road leading past this place,

There are no cars and no smell there.

That's why there are old trees with mighty crowns

where birds and squirrels live.

There are tables, chairs and benches there,

And in the background is an old tavern.

There is good food and drink too,

You don't even need to wave to a waiter.

The wind plays with the leaves of the trees

and a child laughs from the playground.

A dog lies long and stretches out its paws,

You can see it in his face, he feels at home.

Here you can exchange good thoughts

Or just listen to the rustling of the trees.

When it gets dark the lights come on,

But only a few so you can still see the stars...

Maybe some deer are watching us,

We are in the middle of the forest -

We are in Hanff's peace."
