Seriously as a "highlight" I would not recommend the Landal Park for hiking. It was historically rebuilt a small town with lots of water and surrounded by water ..... There is also a small sandy beach. All in all I would not come here; if you are there, however, it is worth looking at!

Esonstad consists of a bungalow park around an artificial lake and a quasi-historic town, which was built between 2004 and 2007. The name is derived from a settlement called Ezonstad, which in the early Middle Ages is said to have been located at approximately the same place and which had to protect Friesland against the Normans.
