The panorama! on the blue route is unique! The path is mostly stony and rocky, so hiking boots and hiking poles for those with knee problems are recommended. Only the last few meters at the summit cross are difficult. Also take enough water with you, there are no supplies on the way. At the beginning of the Bimont dam there is a fountain with drinking water.

From the Refuge Cézanne, with magnificent views. From above you can see the Mediterranean and the Alps in good weather. To climb: Via the Sentier Rouge (shares in light / left and heavy / right variant) or the Sentier Jaune (from a vertical wall that can be climbed or bypassed with chain this path is very difficult / alpine - UIAA Climbing II - no longer 'usually walkable' and partly very exposed - but you can switch to the Sentier Rouge when bypassing).
