The long, stretched-out group of buildings of the former castle, which is now connected to the town hall and used by the city administration, was built in 1565. The upper floors are half-timbered on a massive basement. Bay windows and tail gables are decorative elements. The official entrance to the chancellery gate was under the bay window.
