산악자전거 라이딩
The trail starts at the Alpe di Neggia and leads over 8 kilometers and 1200 meters in altitude down to Vira on the northeastern shore of Lake Maggiore. It is one of the absolute highlight trails in the region. The first section is technically very demanding and requires technical riding skills. After that, it becomes much more flowing over a very long stretch and the trail can be ridden effortlessly. The serpentines in the last section are then a little more demanding again.

Also known as the Carbon Trail. Was previously listed as a route by SwitzerlandMobility Mountainbikeland until the bikers caused too much trouble for the alpine people. So don't race past the cows and startle them. Bike expansion in many curves. Great, varied, long route. Perfectly circumscribed by Ascona-Locarno. In the meantime, probably not as busy as in the days of SwitzerlandMobility; nothing looks very extended.
