To climb the Bismarck Tower on Vierenberg, you have to be there on the first Sunday of the month, then pick up the key from the innkeeper of the Hollenstein mountain inn (about 20 minutes away) and return it. I was luckier; I was able to touch the work of art and enjoy the incredible view. A guided hiking group from Bad Salzuflen was there at the same time. They had their own key and invited me.
