The water tower of Rimburg, also known as the water tower of Übach over Worms, was built in 1925-1926 by the former coal mine "Laura en Vereinigung" in Eygelshoven based on a design by the company's construction office. The water tower has a height of 35.70 meters and a water reservoir of 200 m³. The tower and the pure water cellar have the status of a national monument.

In 2006 two private individuals entered the Landgraaf municipality's water tower competition. With this they won a grant of 330,000 euros. The restoration of the water tower and the construction of a house next to it, however, went beyond their budget on closer inspection. In 2006 the water tower was sold to Mr. Vossenberg. After extensive renovations, the water tower was converted into a lookout tower with a brasserie aimed at hikers.

Normally the brasserie is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. The brasserie is closed on Mondays.

The tower is accessible via the restaurant. The restaurant staff opened the door to the tower after we asked. Definitely worth climbing the tower and enjoying the beautiful view from the top. Moreover, the restaurant is also worth it! Good card and good service!
