During a visit to Marienthal Abbey you can enjoy the gardens and visit different parts of the monastery. For the physical well-being is also taken care of: The Klosterschänke is open daily and spoils you with Oberlausitzer cuisine. If a quick stop is not enough for you, you can stay overnight at the monastery. All information about the monastery can be found on the website kloster-marienthal.de.

St. Marienthal Abbey (Latin Abbatia Vallis B.M.V.) is a Cistercian abbey in Upper Lusatia, Saxony. It is the oldest female monastery of the order in Germany, which has existed continuously since it was founded.
